Overview
We were approached by the Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce to modernise their digital presence, aligning their online identity with their ambitious growth strategy. The redesign aimed to broaden SBCC’s reach and accelerate membership acquisition, while establishing the site as the premier, high-performance information hub for businesses across the Scottish Borders and beyond.
Challenge
The existing website focused on basic aesthetics and the dated design lacked user experience or clear navigation. SBCC needed the new website to make infromation easier to find, especially crucial updates such as the newly announced membership packages amd Non-profit Organisation
Solution
As the organisation was experiencing a rapid spell of expansion and growth, SBCC felt the time was right to move away from Wordpress as their existing website platform of choice. We decided to proceed with a full redesign and migration to Framer, a platform better suited to handle faster updates, site speed and future-proofing. The result is a website which combines much improved aesthetics, easy access to external membership portals and an editorial feel. As part of the redesign, we built a blog which brings a level of much needed consistency across articles and categories, and is easy to maintain.
